How does one open a restaurant during a pandemic – well, lets see, we haven’t done this before?  First, you have your opening moved month by month as the build progresses slowly.   You scour the web for all information relating to health and safety.  You contact all relevant agencies to determine protocols.   You spend your non-existent COVID budget on signs, decals, protective barriers, handwash, training.   Once you are ready and about to open, move your opening date one more month.   Finally you are open!  Quite the learning experience and the public has been really positive, the feedback has been great!   And then you are told to only have 10 people inside, then not, then open again. Quite the rollercoaster, but we are hanging in here.  Thank you Sarnia for all your support!
